Vibes

Sagepath, a digital agency in Atlanta, reached out to students from SCAD to create an experiential campaign while merging 3 notable brands: Coca-Cola, Facebook, and Nike. My team and I chose to celebrate the upcoming 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ album, Yellow Submarine.

We have created multiple avenues for this campaign to take off. We have developed print ads, packaging, apparel, interactive experiences, and overall, we idealized the big event: Vibes.

Wow Moment: We’ve won 4 Gold Addy’s, 1 Judge’s Choice Addy, and 1 HOW International Design Award with this project!

Role: Art Director, Strategist

We used Coca-Cola and Nike to spread awareness of the event. We created limited edition bottles, an interactive vending machine, and Nike swag to get people buzzing about the festival. With Facebook, we created a ride sharing service to the event. The first 500 people (and their +1) to book a ticket to Vibes will get the chance to use the “Event Day Only” ride sharing service through Facebook. Through the Facebook app, these 1,000 attendees will be picked up in yellow submarine vans. On the inside of the vans, a party awaits. These vans will bring the attendees to and from the event.

During the event, Facebook and Nike use kinetic technology to create a holographic illusion of The Beatles on stage. People backstage will dance and “perform”. While on stage, the holograms of The Beatles mimic their every move. It’s as if the band is actually there.
